Public Law Children: Anna regularly represents Local Authorities, parents and children, at all levels.
Private Law Children: Anna regularly represents parents and children in 9.5 Guardian cases.
Ancillary Relief: Anna has experience of representing both parties and intervenors.
Family Law Act cases: Anna also undertakes work in this area.
Nullity and Defended Divorce: Anna has experience in both of these areas.
Anna has a specialist interest in representing individuals with moderate to severe learning difficulties; mental illness; and autism.
Anna regularly gives talks to lawyers and child care professionals on matters relating to all areas of family law. In addition, she is often asked to speak at schools and universities. Anna is also a sponsor through the Middle Temple sponsorship scheme for students. Anna is also a trainer with the Middle Temple Advocacy Programme, training new practitioners, pupils and students.
Degrees and other qualifications
MSc. in Clinical Criminology: Anna undertook a Masters degree in this area, specialising in the area of mentally disordered offenders. She wrote her dissertation, for which she received a First, on 'Children who Kill: Evil, or Incapable of Criminal Responsibility?'.
