All aspects of public family law (representing local authorities, parents and guardians) and private law proceedings, including s8 applications and injunctions.
Relevant experience:
Prior to coming to the Bar, I was a local authority social worker for nearly ten years; seven years of which were in children and families teams. I have also worked as a locum lawyer in a local authority Social Services legal department for 14 months. I also have the benefit of some experience in immigration law as my pupillage was a mixed family and immigration one. I also have some limited knowledge of housing law from my voluntary work for “Greenwich Housing Rights”.

Particular interests:
My previous work experience lends itself to public family law, and I have a lot of experience in representing local authorities. However I am particularly keen to broaden my practice and represent more parents.
