Relevant experience:

Appears in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and High Court. In public law work, he has experience acting for local authorities, parents and guardians from the first hearing in the FPC through to contested final hearings. Experience of private law children work includes residence and contact disputes, as well as disputes with an international element, including applications to remove from the jurisdiction and international child abduction (both Convention and Non-Convention). He has appeared in applications for all forms of relief under the Family Law Act 1996, including occupation and non-molestation orders, and applications for transfer of tenancy. Sam has experience in dealing with applications for ancillary relief from first appointment to final hearing, including applications where interventions are made by 3 rd parties/applications for freezing orders. He has also represented clients in applications under TLATA 1996 and Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.
