Practice Profile
Raisa was taken on by New Court Chambers in October 2010 following the successful completion of her pupillage. During pupillage, Raisa gained experience in all areas of family work undertaken by Chambers.
Raisa regularly represents Local Authorities and parents in both public and private law proceedings. She has also been instructed in applications for relief under the Family Law Act 1996 and frequently conducts ex parte and return date hearings.
Raisa has appeared in the Family Proceedings Court and County Court, representing clients from first appointment through to final hearing. She was recently instructed in a two day fact finding hearing in the County Court.
Raisa has also gained considerable experience drafting documents for court including position statements, thresholds and practice direction documents.
