Practice Profile
Wing's practice focuses on children law, both public and private. In care work she mainly represents local authorities and parents and has also appeared for grandparents and the children. She has experience of cases involving neglect, emotional and physical abuse, drug and alcohol addiction, force feeding and mental health issues. Her work has taken her to the FPC, County Court and High Court.
In private law proceedings, Wing regularly represents clients in a range of s.8 matters including applications to remove the child from the jurisdiction. She also represents clients in Family Law Act injunctions and domestic violence matters.
Before pupillage Wing spent five months as a stagiaire at the European Commission in Brussels. She then worked as a caseworker in an immigration and asylum law firm and practised in both criminal and family law before joining chambers.
Her friendly, kind but firm approach is much valued by lay and professional clients alike.
