Philippa Jenkins has developed a busy and successful career over the last 15 years.
Philippa is regularly instructed in a wide range of cases, and she often receives repeat instructions and a lot of her instructions come from those who have witnessed her at court.
Philippa ensures that those who instruct her receive a prompt written report of the hearing. She also delivers training events to lawyers and childcare professionals. Another area of training she undertakes is through Middle Temple.

Philippa studied at Kings College London and commenced her pupillage at New Court Chambers in 2010.
Philippa has been practicing in public law since she commenced her career at the bar. She has been involved in a number of complex cases including those concerning non-accidental injuries, fabricated illness, parental alienation, drug and alcohol issues, complex legal issues, those with an international element and sexual abuse cases. Philippa represents children’s guardians, parents, interveners, separately represented children and local authorities. She is often instructed to represent individuals who are vulnerable, including those with cognitive difficulties. Philippa has completed the vulnerable witness training.

I store the majority of my case files on Dropbox and/or One Drive which is a cloud hosted environment based in the US.
Dropbox and One Drive relies upon a variety of legal mechanisms for its international transfer of personal data from the EU to the United States. Dropbox and One Drive is certified under the EU-US and Swiss US Privacy Shield Programs regarding the collection, use and retention of personal data and its transfer from the EU and Switzerland to the United States.
In addition to the Privacy Shield, Dropbox and One Drive also provides strong contractual guarantees around the privacy of its services and relies on the EU Model Contract Clauses to cover its international transfers of data.
I am satisfied that such transferred data is fully protected and safeguarded as required by the General Data Protection Regulation.
I retain your personal data while you remain a client unless you ask me to delete it and there is no applicable exemption in relation to this provision. I retain your information whilst the legal proceedings for which the information is being processed are continuing.

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights around your personal data. As my client you have to be informed about the information I hold and what I use it for, you can ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, you can ask me to correct any inaccuracies with the personal data I hold, you can ask me to stop sending you direct e-mails or in some circumstances ask me to stop processing your details.
Please be aware of the exemptions to certain provisions and rights within the GDPR as set out at Schedule 2 Part 1 paragraph 5 of the Data Protection Act 2018.
Finally, if I do something irregular or improper with your personal data you can seek compensation for any distress you are caused or loss you have incurred.
