Christian Ariwa his pupillage with New Court in October 2025.

Prior to pupillage, Christian spent a few years working for a Member of Parliament. He swapped Whitehall for Whitechapel, and spent the two years prior to pupillage working as a paralegal in a Band 1 / Tier 2 (Chambers / Legal 500) family department at a law firm. His work focused primarily on public law children matters.

Christian graduated from the University of East Anglia, where he studied law. He completed the Bar Course at City, University of London on a part-time basis, alongside his role in Parliament. He was awarded a scholarship from Middle Temple during his study.
