Michael Connor

Michael commenced pupillage with Chambers in October 2021 and was called to the Bar in November 2021.

Michael has worked in the family law field since 2012 and previously practiced as an Australian solicitor since 2015. Following admission, he has focused almost exclusively on family law.

Michael’s experience in family law encompasses care proceedings, private children matters, financial remedy disputes, nuptial agreements, and international family law issues, among others. Michael relishes the advocacy aspects of his field and regularly appeared in the Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of NSW, and at various mediations and judicial conciliation conferences. Michael has also been exposed a wide array of care proceedings as part of his pupillage.

Outside of court, Michael enjoys feeding his various obsessions including pottery and ceramics, learning Farsi (Persian), keeping fit, distance running, reading and jazz. More recently, Michael can be found swinging a hammer while undertaking DIY renovations on a dilapidated house in Hertfordshire.
