Federico Brogna joined New Court as a pupil in October 2026, under the supervision of Wing Yan Chan.
Prior to pupillage, Federico worked as a paralegal at a legal aid firm, focusing mainly on public children law proceedings, alongside a number of private children law and child abduction matters. During this time, he worked extensively on the case of Re G (A Child: Scope of Fact-Finding) [2025] EWCA Civ 1044.
Federico graduated with a degree in Law with European Law from the University of Nottingham. During his undergraduate degree, he spent a year studying at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Following his studies, Federico worked in the international serious injury department of a national law firm and on the COVID-19 Inquiry. During this period, he completed the Bar Course at the University of Law following receipt of a scholarship from the Midland Circuit.
