In September and October Andrew Shaw, Wing Chan and Rob Wilkinson will be exhibiting their athletic prowess by taking part in two long distance charity runs.
Andrew and Wing will be jetting off to Germany for the Berlin Marathon on 28 September 2014, while Rob will make the shorter journey across London for the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12 October 2014.
Following on from her 2013 debut marathon in Copenhagen, Wing is running the Berlin Marathon for the charity Sense, which supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. If you would like to sponsor her, please visit her JustGiving page.
Andrew is a seasoned distance runner and this year will be running for the Brain Tumour Charity which is the UK’s largest dedicated brain tumour charity funding scientific and clinical research into brain tumours and offering support and advice to those affected. Andrew’s fundraising page can be found here.
After completing a number of half marathons, and vowing never to run a full marathon again after Copenhagen in 2013, Rob will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. To sponsor Rob, visit his JustGiving page.
Any donations are very gratefully received and will go to help these very special charities.
