Welcome to our New Pupils

News 8th October 2019

We are delighted to welcome two new pupils to chambers, who begin their 12-month pupillages from 7 October 2019.

Kiran Channa has previously worked as a senior paralegal specialising in high net worth financial remedies and private children law. She also spent 3 months volunteering at The Women’s Legal Centre in Cape Town, where she specialised in advocating for the equal treatment of women in South Africa.

Katelyn Gottschling previously worked as a family law paralegal at two firms, assisting in a wide range of children cases (public, private and international) as well as high net worth financial remedies and private children law. Katelyn has also volunteered with the BPP Family Legal Advice Clinic, The School Exclusion Project and as a McKenzie Friend.

New Court Chambers has forged its reputation on a commitment to provide consistently high standards of advice, representation and clerking services.

An excellent set with talented practitioners.

A set with substantial strength in public and private children law matters, and the further capability to handle financial proceedings.

Well versed in highly sensitive matters involving non-accidental injury, child death, sexual abuse, FGM, fictitious illness and child trafficking.

The barristers at New Court Chambers distinguish themselves from others due to their hands-on handling of cases.
